Level 3 Diploma

Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce

This new Diploma is a generic qualification for all people involved in the care of children and young people from 0-19.

The full diploma is 65 credits in size. It is achieved by working through a mandatory set of units and then a selection of units relevant to the specific area of work, for example, the early years.

The full credit total is made up of a number of optional units which the learner can choose, of which NCMA's home-based unit (CYPOP5) is one.

The following table from CWDC gives an overview of how the diploma is constructed.
