Become a Facilitator

NCMA Local logoFor your local Peer Support Network

We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated childminders and nannies to become Peer Network Facilitators. Facilitators will be involved with NCMA's new Peer Support Networks.

A Facilitator role would typically involve:

  • Buddy management
  • Organising local events and meetings
  • Coordinating group voice/activities
  • Bringing a local matter to the attention of the network
  • Managing local content on the online community.

Applicants will be interviewed, recruited and given training in creating and managing their local networks as well as the NCMA Local online community at ncmalocal.org.uk

There are already 30 successful local networks up and running so there are models to work with and others to support you.

If you're interested, please complete and return this application form or email facilitators@ncma.org.uk with your contact details and a brief CV.

The February/March 2012 issue of Who Minds? contained interviews with four new Facilitators. Read their hopes and goals for NCMA Local here.
