NCMA Cymru logoMinister hears member concerns over Minimum Standards

This week in the National Assembly in Wales, First Minister Carwyn Jones was questioned about the National Minimum Standards for childminders and the uncertain situation some childminders are facing.

The issue was raised by North Wales Assembly Member Mark Isherwood, following a letter from one of his constituents highlighting the problems with implementation and interpretation of the standards.

The First Minister said he would examine the issue when he receives further details.

This highlights the fact that the concerns of members are being heard at the very top of Government in Wales.
