Let's Get It Right
Over the last 18 months NCMA Cymru has been working to review
the Quality assurance scheme available to childminders in
Wales.
To ensure this process reflected the views of all those
involved, particularly childminders and children, NCMA Cymru held
consultation events, to seek people’s views on what they see as
‘quality childcare’.
The
report we produced explaining what children told us about what
they wanted at their childcare setting, has now been published on
the ‘Let’s Get It Right’
website, which is produced by the Welsh Government to highlight the
United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The
UNCRC is the basis for all Welsh Government policies for children
and young people.
