Safer recruitment training
Become more confident in the skills needed to recruit staff
safely.
CWDC has produced training for organisations in England
that work with or provide services for children and families. These
organisations have a duty to protect children's welfare. If
you recruit paid staff or volunteers into the children and
families workforce then you should take the safer recruitment
training.
What's involved?
This online training course can be completed at your
own pace. The training covers:
Although the level of detail is high and a some of what is
included will not be specifically relevant to childminders, the
training would help highlight appropriate practice when hiring
assistants.
Visit the CWDC's e-learning
portal to register now. The certificate awarded is valid
for five years from the date of issue. Once your certificate
expires, you will have to re-take the training.
