The Welsh Assembly Government's consultation on a new Child
Poverty Strategy for Wales and accompanying Delivery Plan has now
closed.
The strategy sets out the Assembly Government’s vision for
tackling child poverty in Wales and improving outcomes for children
and families with the Delivery Plan saying what the Government will
do to make sure this happens.
Quality childcare has an important role in
tackling child poverty and it is important that Government is aware
of the work of childminders and how this work is helping children
and families across Wales.
NCMA Cymru has sumbitted a
response to the consultation, and this is available to read
online.
