Regional Forums
Every
NCMA region holds three meetings each year which NCMA members can
attend to discuss important childcare topics and share their views
with NCMA. These meetings are known as Regional Forums and the
dates of
upcoming meetings will be published here.
At Regional Forums NCMA members have the opportunity to:
- hear about the issues affecting other childminders in their
area and listen to their views
- comment on subjects that affect all childminders, for example,
the Early Years Foundation Stage or whistleblowing
- give their view on the services NCMA provides for its
members
- suggest topics that they think need to be discussed.
Shortly after each Regional Forum, a National Policy
Forum meeting is held. This meeting is attended by two elected
NCMA members from each region who share the thoughts and views of
their region with the other National Policy Forum
representatives.
Regional Fourms
Regional Forums are open to all NCMA members, with everyone
welcome and encouraged to attend. However, because some venues may
only be able to accommodate a limited number of people please
contact the organiser if you are planning to attend.
Find out more about your regional forum in My NCMA and download your
invitation.
